        Luis E. Montes Brito

        Ambassador Luis Montes Brito served as a Salvadoran diplomat and policy maker, specializing in issues dealing with the Salvadoran Diaspora. As El Salvador’s Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs for Salvadorans abroad under President Elias Antonio Saca, Ambassador Montes Brito was responsible for managing El Salvador’s foreign policy and promoting the integration of Salvadorans living outside its borders. El Salvador has over 2 million nationals living overseas; at least 80% of them live in the United States.
         
        Prior to becoming Vice Minister, Montes Brito served as General Consul of El Salvador in Florida from 2006 to 2008. In 2001, he was appointed General Consul of El Salvador in Long Island, New York.
         
        In 1999, Ambassador Montes Brito served as CEO of two shrimp exporting companies. He concurrently served as board member of the Salvadoran Chamber of Fisheries and Aquaculture of El Salvador (CAMPAC).

        From 1989 to 1999, Montes Brito served as Chairman and CEO for Hospital Metropolitano, a private health care facility that primarily attended low to middle income patients. In this capacity, he also served as a founding member of the board of directors of the Association of Private Hospitals of El Salvador (AHPES).
         
        Ambassador Montes Brito earned his Industrial Engineering degree from Universidad Salvadoreña and his MBAs from Universidad Tecnológica and from the prestigious INCAE Business School.
         
        Montes Brito is married to Jeannette E. Montes and they have two children and two granddaughters.
         
        He currently works in the New York State Senate Majority Conference as Hispanic Regional Coordinator; is a founding member of the Pan-American Institute for Social Research (PAISR) and writes columns that are frequently published by newspapers throughout Latin Am
        erica.

        Antonio A. Martinez

        Tony Martinez has dedicated his professional life to the service and outreach of others.  Tony began his career by serving Long Island’s poor through his work at Catholic Charities, then empowering others as a community organizer for Long Island Congregations, Associations & Neighborhoods, and also East Brooklyn Congregations. Martinez also served as a union organizer with the Empire State Regional Council of Carpenters for almost a decade.  Tony is a proud resident of the Town of Babylon where he currently serves as an elected Town Board Councilman.

        Mr. Martinez partnered with Luis Montes and Luis Montes Brito to continue his work of service and outreach through Pan American Communications (PAC).  Tony wants to help socially responsible corporate, political, not-for-profit entities to reach out to the Hispanic Community.  He believes that these entities and the Hispanic community can mutually benefit each other and wants to use his experience to “bridge” the gap.

        Tony immigrated to the United States in 1982 at the age of 13.  He attended and graduated the State University of New York College at Oneonta. Martinez chose to major in Political Science and History. Tony graduated from Oneonta in 1991 after completing a public policy internship with the New York State Department of Labor.

        Tony is married to Marisol Martinez and they both are the proud parents of Zachary, Tomas and Nicholas.
